Dress Code

Fashion, colour and good taste are pre-requisites inherent in any Golf Club Dress Code and Riddell’s Bay members and guests are expected to reflect them in the various Club settings.

  • Members are responsible for informing their guests of the Dress Code to avoid embarrassment when registering.
  • Unacceptable attire will not be permitted on the golf course. Our golf staff have the authority to deny play until our dress code is honored.

Gentlemen Course Dress Code

Consists of appropriate golf attire at all times.

  • Shirts, slacks or tailored shorts and shoes are to be worn on Club property
  • Shirts are to be with collars and sleeves, with or without logos (tasteful)
  • Shirts are to be worn inside trousers or shorts
  • Hats are to be worn properly
  • Shorts are to be tailored dress shorts. Baggy cargo shorts with “puffy” pockets are not suitable attire
  • Slacks, trousers – no denim or imitation of same
  • Riddell’s Bay is a soft spike golf facility

Ladies Course Dress Code

Consists of appropriate golf attire at all times.

  • Skirts, blouses, slacks or tailored shorts and shoes are to be worn on Club property
  • Shorts are to be tailored and no shorter than 3” above the knee
  • Shirts with collars and sleeves – or sleeveless (covering shoulder) with or without collars, with or without logos (tasteful).  Tee-shirts are not permitted
  • Slacks, trousers – no denim or imitation of same
  • Riddell’s Bay is a soft spike golf facility.

Clubhouse Dress Code

  • Appropriate golf attire is acceptable in the Clubhouse at any time
  • Appropriate denim clothing will be allowed in the the following areas of the Clubhouse until 4pm on a daily basis; Trophy Lounge, Bar Dining Area, Main Dining Room and on the Terrace. Management reserves the right to define what is appropriate or inappropriate. 
  • Exception: metal spikes are not allowed in lounges, dining and terrace areas
  • Wearing of caps or hats in the Trophy Lounge or Dining areas is not permitted
  • Ladies fashion headwear and religious headgear is permitted
  • Main Dining Room: Wednesdays – Smart Casual
